New trailer posted today by Marvel UK. It’s been a long time coming but the new Avengers movie is almost here!
A test shot fires from the Office of Naval Research-funded Electromagnetic Railgun prototype launcher located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. The test shots begin a month-long series of full-energy tests to evaluate the technology. This prototype, developed by BAE, is the first of two industry-built launchers that will bring the Department of the Navy a step closer to producing a new-generation, long-range, weapon for surface ships.
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.
The next Frictional Games game is on the way! After playing Amnesia and Penumbra, I think these guys made some of the best scary/suspenseful games available. If you disagree, tell me of a scarier game and I’ll try it out. I love scary games and am always looking for new ones. Here’s a snippet from Joystiq:
A rich industrial tycoon named Oswald Mandus collapses from a feverish nightmare in which he sees a mysterious, dark machine. A “disastrous” and tragic expedition to Mexico, compounded with his illness, have stolen months from his life and he wakes determined to piece together the missing fragments of his life.
At its core, A Machine for Pigs follows the same terror-inducing principles as the first, but changes the gameplay to keep things fresh for veterans. “People going in will not know what to expect,” Grip says, noting that elements from The Dark Descent have been ripped out of the game, and new ones have been added. Neither will budge on details, only to say it remains a first-person horror title. Both agree the game has a high bar to aspire to.
“If we don’t get as many cool YouTube videos of people having fits, then I’ll be disappointed,” Pinchbeck jokes.
